Been a fan of KK for a little bit now. Took the plunge and bought this reel on discount. Reely smooth, lightweight and casts pretty far on 15lb line. On 15lb KK super power i have my brakes setup on setting 6 or 7 depending on lure. The only thing i don't like so far is no drag clicker. I like to hear the drag as an input to what i need to do next when reeling in bigger fish. Not a huge problem, but i would love this feature on this reel, as i really like it. Now, as a side example, i broke the reel in on a 40+ inch northern pike, drag set by feel. This reel did a nice job.
I had alway wanted this reel and finally decide to get it. Glad I did because it delivers and exceeded my expectations. Hook up to this slot bayou red fish and it handle the fight amazingly. From the casting to the dialing down of the drag. This reel was able to bring it in. I highly recommend and hope they make a inshore version.

This reel is very light in the hand and fits nicely in the palm, very compact. Smooth with good amount of line capacity. Excited to try this reel out when the snow melts in the Midwest! The brake system is what I’m most looking forward to!
